Foreign Minister receives departing Philippines Ambassador

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received this morning Imelda Panolong, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid her farewell on the occasion of the end of her duties.

The Minister expressed his appreciation for her efforts in strengthening the relations between Oman and the Philippines and offered her his wishes for success in her future assignments.

Ambassador Panolong expressed her appreciation and thanks for the facilities provided to her during her posting, which enabled the Embassy to perform its duties. She also expressed her abundant appreciation for the kind treatment and hospitality from Omanis that the Filipino community working in the Sultanate enjoys.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khaled Aljaradi, Head of the Ministry's Protocol Department and Yousuf Alzadjali, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department.
