UN Secretary General receives Oman's Diplomatic Undersecretary

Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy, Diplomatic Affairs Undersecretary at the Foreign Ministry, held a meeting with Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), on the sidelines of the political ministerial forum on sustainable development that began today at the United Nations in New York.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on a number of regional and international issues. The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, expressed his appreciation for the foreign policy of the Sultanate of Oman and its role in supporting stability and security efforts in the region.

The Secretary-General also expressed his thanks to the Omani government for its cooperation and coordination with the United Nations, especially with regard to the Yemeni issue.
