Political Undersecretary receives Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received Dr Ali Bagheri, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The meeting discussed cooperation between the two friendly countries and how to enhance such cooperation to serve the interests of  both Oman and Iran. A number of regional and international issues of common concern were also discussed.

The meeting was attended by Ali Najafi, Iran's Ambassador to Oman, as well as officials from the Sultanate and Iran.
