State Council Chair and Political Undersecretary attend Erdogan inauguration

Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. Sheikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, participated in the inauguration of Recep Tayyip Erdogan as President of the Republic of Turkey for a new term.

Sheikh Abdul Malik was accompanied at the ceremony which was held this evening in the Presidential Palace in the Turkish capital, Ankara, by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy,  Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs.

The Chairman of the State Council was also accompanied by Sheikh Dr Al Khattab bin Ghaleb Al Hinai, Vice President of the State Council and the Chargé d'Affairs of Oman's Embassy to Turkey.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Chairman of the State Council conveyed the greetings and congratulations of His Majesty the Sultan to the Turkish President and his Majesty's good wishes to him and the friendly Turkish people for progress and prosperity.

President Erdoğan asked the Sheikh to convey his sincere greetings and appreciation to His Majesty as well as his good wishes to His Majesty for good health and long life and to the Omani people for progress and development.
