Official Omani delegation conveys His Majesty's condolences to Iran's acting President
At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, an official delegation of Ministers and leading officials conveyed in Tehran today the condolences and sympathies of His Majesty to Dr Mohammad Mokhber, Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the death of late President Dr Ebrahim Raisi and his accompanying delegation.
The Omani delegation included Dr Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information; Sheikh Mohammed bin Saeed Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs; Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, and Ibrahim bin Ahmed Almuaini, Oman's Ambassador to Iran.
The delegation expressed His Majesty’s sincere condolences and deep sympathies to the Iranian leadership and people over this tragic occurrence, praying to Allah the Almighty to bestow mercy and forgiveness on the deceased and to support their families with patience and solace.
Dr Mohammad Mokhber expressed his deep thanks to His Majesty for his sincere condolences and noble feelings. He prayed to the Almighty to spare His Majesty and the Omani people all forms of evil and harm.
