Foreign Minister holds call with new Palestinian Prime Minister

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi made a call to the recently appointed Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Palestine, Mohammad Mustafa.

The Foreign Minister congratulated Dr Mustafa on his assignment to form the Palestinian government and his assumption of the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

He conveyed his sincere wishes for success in his duties and responsibilities and for further growth and prosperity of the relations between Oman and Palestine and the two brotherly peoples.

The Ministers exchanged congratulations on Eid Al-Fitr and Sayyid Badr reiterated his call for freedom, independence and development for the Palestinian people. He praised their steadfastness in the face of the brutal Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.

On behalf of all Palestinians, the Prime Minister thanked Oman under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said for its support for justice for the Palestinian cause.
