His Majesty receives message from Bulgarian President
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria, concerning relations between the two friendly countries.
The message was handed over to Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi during a meeting in his office with Georg Georgiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian Minister expressed his country’s appreciation for Oman’s humanitarian and diplomatic role in supporting peace and regional stability issues. He praised Oman’s positive initiatives, including its recent efforts to secure the release of the crew of the vessel Galaxy Leader, which included Bulgarian citizens.
Sayyid Badr highlighted the vital role of diplomacy based on dialogue and mutual trust in promoting regional and international stability. He noted that Oman believes effective dialogue and constructive diplomacy are the most effective means of achieving peace and fostering understanding among nations and peoples.
The two Ministers also discussed the latest regional and international developments. They affirmed their countries’ shared stance on advocating peaceful solutions to conflicts and disputes, on contributing to enhanced security, stability, and on the promotion of harmony among nations and peoples.
The meeting was attended by officials from both Oman and Bulgaria.
