His Majesty visits Brussels City Hall
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, accompanied by an official delegation, visited Brussels City Hall in the Kingdom of Belgium, accompanied by King Philippe, King of the Belgians.
The visit took place as part of His Majesty's state visit to Belgium.
Upon His Majesty's arrival, he was received by Philippe Close, the Mayor of Brussels. His Majesty then toured the historic building, renowned for its unique 15th Century gothic architectural design.
Children of staff from the Omani Embassy in Brussels, along with members of GCC and Arab delegations, as well as attendees from Belgium and various nationalities, warmly welcomed His Majesty.
Holding flags of Oman and Belgium, they gathered outside the City Hall, where His Majesty and King Philippe greeted them from the balcony overlooking the square.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Majesty wrote in the guestbook, expressing his pleasure at seeing the historic building and describing it as an ancient architectural masterpiece that reflects the rich heritage of Belgium.
