His Majesty visits Turkish National Library

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik visited the Turkish National Library as part of his state visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

During the visit, His Majesty viewed the Library’s valuable publications and rare manuscripts covering many subjects.

His Majesty also toured an exhibition of Omani Turkish documents and publications organised on the occasion of His Majesty’s visit.

The National Library, often referred to at the Presidential Library,  is the largest institution of its kind in the Republic of Türkiye. It houses a huge collection including four million print copies, more than 120 million articles and electronic scientific publications and 134,000 books from various countries of the world in different languages. The Library has a special section for Omani publications.
