US and Iran agree to enter further round of nuclear talks
Oman’s Foreign Ministry confirms that in a meeting in Rome mediated by Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Iran’s Foreign Minister Dr Seyed Abbas Araghchi and US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff have agreed to enter into the next phase of their discussions that aim to seal a fair, enduring and binding deal to ensure Iran is completely free of nuclear weapons and sanctions, while maintaining its ability to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
The Ministry affirms that it is only through dialogue and clear communication that we will be able to achieve a mutually credible agreement and understanding for the benefit of all concerned regionally and internationally.
