President of Angola arrives in Oman
The President of the Republic of Angola, João Manuel Lourenço, has arrived in the Sultanate of Oman for an official two-day visit. During his stay, he will meet with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
Sayyid Khalid Al Busaidi, Minister of the Royal Court, led the welcoming party for the distinguished guest, his spouse, and the accompanying delegation upon their arrival at the Royal Private Airport.
Sayyid Khalid extended a warm welcome to the President, wishing him and his delegation a pleasant and successful visit.
Also present at the reception were Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority, Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqiya, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation; Dr Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy (Head of the Mission of Honour); Angola's non resident Ambassador to Oman, and members of the Mission of Honour accompanying the guest.
The Angolan President and his wife are accompanied during their visit by an official delegation which includes: José de Lima Massano, Minister of Coordination of the Economy, Téte Antonio, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Vera Esperança dos Santos Daves de Sousa, Minister of Finance; Diamontino Pedro Azevedo, Minister of Mineral Resources, Gas and Oil; Mario Augusto da Silva Oliveira, Minister of Telecommunications; Altodros Marcio Caspar da Costa, Head of the President’s Office of His Excellency the President, and the non resident Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Oman.
